There have been 265 new cases of the virus in the last seven days, in the week leading to September 1.That's an increase in of 391 per cent week-on-week.The borough's infection rate is continuing to soar, and now stands at 92.16 - the highest it's been throughout the pandemic.Bolton now has the highest number of cases per 100,000 people in the whole country, for the second day running.While other parts of Greater Manchester are now seeing some restrictions on leisure facilities and indoor performances lifted, they will remain closed in Bolton.Casinos, bowling alleys and other leisure facilities can re-open everywhere in Greater Manchester from 00.01am on Tuesday 8 September - except in Bolton.Socially.
