Manchester United have less than a week to add to their squad this summer - but there is leeway in the global market for them to strike-up further business beyond deadline day.
Erik ten Hag and his recruitment team moved swiftly after finishing third last season to sign Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund for a combined £180million-plus to strengthen three positions.
However, owing to form and circumstance, United have now resumed their recruitment drive. Injuries to England internationals Luke Shaw and Mount mean the club are hoping to snap-up a left-back and another central midfielder.
There are also attempts being made to find worthy back-up for Onana with Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir heading up the list.
