There’s no better way to start the New Year than with a bracing walk outside. The crisp, fresh air blows away the old cobwebs and any hangovers from the celebrations of the night before.

A walk beside the water is one way to leave you feeling refreshed, and restore a sense of calm as we head into 2025. Greater Manchester has no shortage of lakes, canals and rivers to choose from, all offering relaxing strolls with waterside views.
