THE Simpsons' has a hidden puzzle dating back to 1989 - and there's a $1m reward for solving it. The hit animated series has been on our screens for more than three decades, providing plenty of laughs and iconic moments along the way.
However, the show isn't just a one-dimensional comedy, as it actually has lots of hidden Easter Eggs relating to maths and numbers.
That's because many of the show's top brass are maths buffs, and the show's first ever episode actually included a number of jokes about calculus.
Meanwhile the Halloween special “Treehouse of Horror VI” features five minutes of hardcore maths. At one point, the letters P and NP can be seen over Homer’s right shoulder, which is a nod to an unsolved theoretical computer science.
