The Script perform surprise gig at famous Glasgow pub after Hampden performance

The Script made a surprise appearance at a famous Glaswegian bar last night just hours after performing at Hampden as the opening act for P!nk on her Summer Carnival world tour.The Irish rock band arrived at the Clutha bar on Stockwell Street in the late hours of Saturday evening and treated staff and customers to an intimate acoustic gig.Frontman Danny O'Donoghue and Glen Power, who is usually the band's drummer, took to the small stage at the city centre bar with their guitars to perform several of The Script's biggest hits including The Man Who Can't Be Moved, For The First Time and Hall of Fame.The Script have since taken to their Instagram stories to upload footage of Danny and Glen performing the band's hit single For The First Time at The Clutha, tagging the Glasgow bar in the video.Just hours before, they played as the support act for American pop star P!nk for her two night run at Hampden where Danny took to the stage dressed in a traditional tartan kilt made up of a green blue and red pattern, much to fans' delight.Though their unexpected arrival would have come as a shock to the punters in the pub, The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue is said to have hinted they would be going to the city centre bar 'to keep the party going' after they received an incredible response at Hampden.He said: "Glasgow, you never cease to amaze us.
