Kate Hudson is opening up about a potential How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days sequel and said she is down to make it happen. In a recent interview, Hudson said that she and her co-star Matthew McConaughey are open to starring in a follow-up to the 2003 romantic comedy. “I think they’re always thinking about that,” Hudson told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen after he asked if there was ever any thought to making a sequel.
Hudson added, “All that matters would be the script and if Matthew and I would be into the script.” “I think we’re both totally open but it’s just never happened,” she said.
Donald Petrie directed How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, which is based on the picture book by Michele Alexander and Jennie Long.
The screenplay by Kristen Buckley, Brian Regan, and Burr Steers revolves around advertising executive Benjamin Barry (McConaughey), who makes a bet he can make any woman fall in love with him.
