Fox Reveals Fall Premiere Dates, Including the Return of ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ After Its Strike-Induced 15-Month Hiatus

23 at 8 p.m., kicking off a premiere week for Fox and marking the first new episode of the Rob Lowe series since May 2023. (“9-1-1: Lone Star” took a hiatus last season in the wake of the Hollywood strikes.) Among other news revealed on Tuesday by Fox, the network has made a slight tweak to its fall schedule: The Joel McHale-hosted series “Crime Scene Kitchen” will now return for its Season 3 in the fall, airing Thursdays at 9 p.m.
behind Gordon Ramsay’s “Hell’s Kitchen” (back for Season 23!). The show originally scheduled behind “Hell’s Kitchen,” Season 3 of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” will launch in midseason instead.
Fox’s fall schedule actually starts unrolling at the beginning of September, as the network takes advantage of NFL games to launch new entries like the animated “Universal Basic Guys,” which launches on Sept.
