The Ibrox club could unveil their alleged evidence against the SPFL this week as clubs prepare for an EGM to decide whether the league's governing body should be investigated.
SPFL chairman MacLennan countered allegations of "bullying and coercion" influencing the controversial season-ending vote by answering his own questions in a 3000 word document last week.
And that left former Celtic striker Nicholas, who has all-but abandoned hope of the season being finished, completely stunned.
