A high-rise development featuring hundreds of flats aimed at members of Generation Z, as well as a cinema, gym and yoga studio, have been completed in Salford.

The £52m Fifty5ive Queen Street scheme has been developed by Salboy It includes 220 flats as well as co-working spaces and a break-out lounge.

Fifty5ive is a scheme developed across two adjoining sites that in isolation were not considered viable for redevelopment: the old Copperworks on King Street and a second site on Queen Street, both of which were surrounded by historic and often listed buildings. READ MORE: Click here to sign up to the BusinessLive North West newsletter Working with Jon Matthews Architect, Salboy and DOMIS were able to bring forward a the development that combined the two sites to allow for a more efficient floorplate, larger amenity space and more natural light.

The scheme is the eighth to have been completed by the company in partnership with DOMIS, its dedicated construction partner.
