Yara Shahidi has been one busy young lady in recent times with projects both in front and behind the camera, all while graduating from Harvard University in late May.The 22-year-old is taking on the role of Tinkerbell in the upcoming live-action film Peter Pan & Wendy, she's starring in the new season of Grown-ish, and ABC Signature extended its deal with her production company 7th Sun Productions that she runs with her mother Keri Shahidi.But on Sunday the young star decided to take advantage of a little downtime and spent part of her day with her mom in New York City.

She rounded out her overall look by having long raven tresses pulled back off of her face and into a ponytail.Being from a close-knit family, Yara held hands with her mother on a number of occasions, as they strolled past the many shops, restaurants and galleries.
