Earlier this week, a police prosecutor filed a charge of second-degree murder against the real estate heir in New York in the latest twist in what has been one of the most high profile and gripping murder cases to come out of the US.
A statement reported by Associated Press confirmed the charge and stated: ‘The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office can confirm that a complaint charging Robert Durst with the murder of Kathleen Durst was filed in Lewisboro Town Court on 19 October 2021.
