James Gunn is now running things at DC alongside Peter Safran but he has one final film at Marvel with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Word is out that the runtime for the third installment will be the longest of the trilogy clocking in at about two and a half hours.

For Mrs. Lovett, who laments that alley cats were too quick and meager to carve up anyway — well, it’s a living, innit love?  Slitting throats and baking bodies into pies is a wild and wicked business. But in the stately and star-filled revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s macabre 1979 musical that opened on Broadway Sunday night, the people-to-pastries pipeline quickly assumes a grim air of mundanity.  For its stars Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford, this lushly orchestrated and opera-scale production, from “Hamilton” director Thomas Kail, proves a magnificent showcase for their respective, jaw-dropping talents. Groban’s weighted-blanket baritone makes the prospect of reclining in his company and never waking up again seem like a great way to go. And Ashford’s fleet, agile instinct for comedy, which earned her a Tony Award for “You Can’t Take It With You,” is like a dippy bird for dopamine. But only one of them is a genuine thrill.

After a surprise-filled season 1 finale, is finally back with new episodes — and the season 2 premiere did not disappoint, delivering one shocking moment after another. The New York district attorney charged Jonathan Majors with multiple counts of assault and harassment following his arrest in an alleged domestic dispute Saturday. In documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Majors, 33, was charged with two counts of assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment in the second degree, attempted assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Jack Kesy will portray Hellboy in “The Crooked Man,” a new movie about the demonic comic book character. It’s the latest reboot of the role, which has been previously immortalized on screen by Ron Perlman and David Harbour. Millennium Media is backing “The Crooked Man,” which will be directed by Brian Taylor from a script by “Hellboy” comic book creator Mike Mignola and Chris Golden. It will be the first film in the Millennium Media partnered development slate with German film and TV distributor Telepool, a division of Westbrook Inc. Here’s the logline for “The Crooked Man”: “Stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia, Hellboy and a rookie BPRD agent discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy’s past: the Crooked Man.”
