The Dead South were very much alive and kicking at the 2020 Juno Awards, with the four-piece snaring a trophy and delivering a punchy performance.

The folk-bluegrass act’s LP Sugar & Joy won the Juno for traditional roots album of the year, and the audience at home won with the Dead South’s performance of “Diamond Ring.” Nate Hilts and Co.
