THE Crown’s Emma Corrin has said she felt "terrified" playing Princess Diana. The 25-year-old actress made her debut in the hit Netflix series' fourth season last year and went on to win a Golden Globe for Best Performance By An Actress In A TV Series, Drama.
She has since opened up on the "insane responsibility" of taking on the mammoth legacy of Diana in a chat with Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page.
Speaking on Actors On Actors virtual chat with Variety, she said: "I remember when I got the part, I did feel that insane sense of responsibility, also playing Diana as well, it's kind of terrifying." However, Emma hadn't realised she was being considered for the part when she first met with casting agents.
