Over the summer, the standard 95 octane petrol grade in Great Britain will shift over to E10 - a greener fuel that contains ten per cent ethanol.

The new fuel is set to come into effect in September but is already being rolled out in certain forecourts. READ MORE: Whilst many motorists will be able to continue filling up without consequence, drivers of cars built before 2011 may be at risk of damaging their vehicles or even voiding insurance.
