The Bill star Trudie Goodwin says there was "no reason" the show should have ended

The police drama ran for 26 years until 2010, and with it coming to streaming this month on UKTV Play, some cast members have reunited to reflect on their memories of the series.
However, while appearing on today's (May 7) This Morning, Trudie Goodwin – who played WPC June Ackland on the series until 2007 – admitted she was "disappointed" it ended. "I really didn't [want it to go]," she said. "I wasn't there right at the end, I'd left before the end. "I was so disappointed it finished.
