If you’re planning a visit to the coast during the school holidays then there’s one sport in North Wales which is worth putting to the top of your list.
Barmouth, which is around a two hour and 40 minute drive from Greater Manchester, has been named one of the best beaches in the UK by The Sunday Times.
The publication recently published its annual list of the 50 best beaches, and Barmouth made the cut thanks to its amazing views, fish and chips and the dolphins you can spot offshore.
