Tesco customers weren’t happy when the supermarket trialled changes to its petrol pump policy.The supermarket, as well as others like Sainsbury's and Asda, have introduced larger pre-authorisation fees on the advice of Visa and Mastercard.Pre-authorisation charges, which aren't taken from accounts unless you spend that much at the pump, have jumped from £1 to £99 instead.But as this is more than some people can clear with their banks, some have taken to social media to complain.One punter tweeted: "Well thats @Tesco off my list of filling stations after they have announced a £99 ‘deposit’ for pay at pump.
