Police in car chase with BMW X5 through Glasgow streets as occupants flee scene and man arrested

Glasgow. Police flagged a black BMW X5 to pull over on Torphin Crescent in the Greenfield area of the city at around 5.50pm on Saturday night.

The driver failed to stop and led cops on a police chase to Edinburgh Road. The driver then pulled over and the occupants in the car fled the scene on foot.One man was then arrested in the Haymarket Street area.A large police presence was reported by residents in the surrounding streets.An abandoned BMW with extensive damage to the vehicle was seen abandoned in the residential street.Five officers can also be seen surrounding the vehicle as a police car remains parked behind it.Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and no one was injured.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A vehicle failed to.
