A 72-year-old man is understood to have suffered a 'medical incident' behind the wheel before his vehicle hit two pedestrians outside a Tesco supermarket.
Emergency services were called to the incident, at the Tesco car park beside the Salford Shopping Centre, shortly before 12.30pm on Wednesday (September 6).
Police and paramedics attended the incident where it was discovered a man, aged 72, had hit two pedestrians, a man aged in his 70s and a woman in her 80s. Further details about the nature of their conditions have not yet been disclosed. A NWAS spokesperson said: "We have been called to Salford Centre to reports of RTC with pedestrians at 12.25.
