Tesco, Asda more supermarkets issue recalls on chorizo, potatoes, dog food and coffee

Two of Britain's biggest supermarkets have issued recalls on popular products after it emerged some items could contain food poisoning bacteria.

Tesco has recalled certain packs of chorizo over listeria fears while Asda said it's recalling vegan potato skins - because some batches may contain milk.

Elsewhere, dog food manufacturer Happy Hounds Wales said it is taking the precautionary step of recalling a number of raw products because they may contain salmonella.

It said anyone who has purchased these items should return them to the original retailer as soon as possible. The Food Standards Agency also issued a warning over roasted coffee beans after an investigation last month found more batches could contain nuts which are not mentioned
