A Scots mum has been forced to flee her home after her pet's throat was ripped open by an XL Bully-type dog. Amanda Brogan and her son Kieren, 25, have been left 'traumatised' after 10-year-old Ziggy was mauled outside their Glasgow flat on Saturday.The Spanish rescue dog was rushed to the vets who performed surgery on three deep puncture wounds to her throat and shoulder.
She also suffered numerous puncture wounds and bruising across her entire body after being savaged by the off-lead beasts.Mum-of-two Amanda told the Record she had repeatedly raised concerns about her neighbour's two devil dogs with housing chiefs over the last 18 months.
Just two weeks ago, she told her Wheatley Housing Group officer she feared Ziggy was going to be 'torn apart' before the devastating attack.The 46-year-old said: “We’re all totally traumatised.
I’ve moved my stuff out of the flat and I’m staying with my partner now. I’m not going back there. I just can’t be there any longer because it’s not safe.
