Teenager arrested in connection with Kilmarnock town centre attempted murder of schoolboy

On Monday a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 6.20pm on Monday, October 24, we received a report that a male youth had been seriously assaulted at Soulis Street in Kilmarnock."He has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.”And on the night a Stagecoach West spokesperson said: "Due to a police incident in Kilmarnock town centre, Stagecoach buses were diverted from Kilmarnock Bus Station for a short period of time on the evening of October 24."Bus services continued to operate from town centre stops close to the bus station with staff on hand to assist passengers."Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter here
