Man rushed to Glasgow hospital after Kilmarnock assault as woman is arrested in connection with incident

A man has been rushed to hospital after being found injured in Kilmarnock last night.Emergency services were called to Lindsay Drive in New Farm and the stricken 39-year-old was raced up to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.The extent of the injuries sustained by the man has not been disclosed.However, police confirmed this morning that a 37-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the attackA Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6pm on Monday, 7 November, to a report of a man injured on Lindsay Drive in the Newfarm area of Kilmarnock.“A 39-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.“A 37-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.” For the latest news and breaking news visit our website.
