Teen stabbed in 'targeted attack' in Scots park as cops launch hunt

A teenager was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed in "targetted attack" by two thugs on motorbikes in a Scot park on Friday evening.

The 19-year-old was with two friends within Victoria Park, Newhaven Road, in Edinburgh, when they were approached by two men on Sur-Ron style motorbikes around 6.50pm on July 12.

One of the men stabbed the victim in the arm before they both made off on the bikes in the direction of Craighall Road. Emergency services were called and the victim was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
