A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was injured in what police have called a 'targeted' stabbing.
The 18 year-old, who hasn't been named, remained in police custody today - Friday - for questioning. Emergency services were called to the St John's Court area of Radcliffe, in Bury, at around 3.45pm on Thursday.
A 20 year-old man found injured was subsequently taken to hospital. In an update today, police described his injuries as serious, but not believed to be life-threatening.
Greater Manchester Police also revealed he was taken to hospital by a member of the public. It's thought he was 'chased' by another male with a knife before he was stabbed, said GMP.
