And following the 4-0 rout of DC United, Rodgers was put on the spot about a move for the USA cap. Speaking in Washington, Rodgers told the media: “It’s gossip season and right now it’s just a rumour, there’s a lot of rumours linked with the club.” Record Sport also understand that there is firm interest from Celtic in Royal Antwerp star Michel-Ange Balikwisha.
