Jonas Brothers are getting fans so excited for their new album!

Joe Jonas is taking a lighthearted jab at Kevin Jonas after he almost fell on stage.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter “It’s clear this theater isn’t used to rock concerts,” Nick Jonas roared from the stage. “The spotlights can’t hit us because you’re all standing.”  He was right: Broadway’s Marquis Theater, which has housed acclaimed but not quite foot-stomping, hip-shaking productions of musicals like “Tootsie” and “Beetlejuice,” isn’t accustomed to two hours of 1,600 jumping, screaming fans. Yet the venue’s infrastructure will be put to the test during the Jonas Brothers’ five-night residency from March 14-18. (We ask this with love: Can the mezzanine support five nights of bouncing concert-goers?)  Night one of the limited engagement — wherein each show focuses on one album, in order of release — took the audience all the way back to the aughts with their 2007 self-titled album “Jonas Brothers” and successfully kicked off the week of performances. The residency continues through Saturday with “A Little Bit Longer” (2008), “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times” (2009) and “Happiness Begins (2019)” before culminating with the first live performance of the band’s newest album, “The Album,” which dropped May 12.

The full programme of events for this year's Manchester International Festival has been revealed including a three-day residency from singer-songwriter Janelle Monáe and a world premiere art project from former Manchester United player Juan Mata.

Yard Act have announced a five night residency at the Brudenell Social Club in their hometown of Leeds. The shows in May will see them supported by stand-up comedians, including Harry Hill, Nish Kumar, Rose Matafeo and Lolly Adefope.“Yard Act is all about entertainment”, says frontman James Smith.

Now, Elvis Costello has pulled off something to make even a stunt like that seem like the stuff of slackers. His 10-night stand at New York’s Gramercy Theatre was billed as “100 Songs and More,” with the artist laying out 10 unique songs he would be playing each night, just as a starting point. By the time the run wrapped up with one final three-hour show Wednesday night, the emphasis was on the …and more, with Costello actually having played exactly 250 songs over the course of the Feb. 9-22 residency (not counting interpolations), with only a handful of those breaking his vow to have no repeats between shows.

Adele has candidly shared more details about the extent of her back problems during a recent performance at her ‘Weekends With Adele’ residency in Las Vegas. The 34-year-old songstress expressed that she was performing with a disintegrated disk in her spine, saying: “Is anyone else kind of my age starting getting bad knees? I have got really bad sciatica in my left leg and my L5 disc is not fucking there anymore. It’s worn away.”According to the Cleveland Clinic, the L5 disk’s associated nerve, situated at the lower back, is responsible for providing “sensation to the outer side of your lower leg, the upper part of your foot and the space between your first and second toe”.

A Super Bowl commercial confirmed today what has long been suspected: U2 will take up residency in the brand-new MSG Sphere in Las Vegas for an immersive show that mines the band’s catalog.

Aerosmith has canceled the final two shows of their Las Vegas residency due to frontman Steven Tyler's ill-health.The band was due to play shows on Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10, at  but had to cancel the shows at the Dolby Live stage because of  74-year-old Tyler's health issues, the nature of which has not been disclosed.Aerosmith posted a picture to their social media account apologizing for the unexpected cancelation - which comes days after they canceled their December 2 and December 5 shows. Like a kid on Christmas eve: Adele, 34, shared an Instagram snap as she rehearsed for Friday's opening Weekends with Adele show in Las Vegas as she delved into her nerves and excitement on InstagramAdele was doing her tech rehearsal in a casual outfit, pairing a black graphic sweatshirt that she paired with leggings that accentuated her trimmed-down figure, and she opted for black socks without shoes.  The songstress (born Adele Adkins) stood in a red-carpeted aisle that appeared to be in the middle of the venue's floor section, with banks of seats surrounding her on all sides.Teasing a glimpse of the run-though of her show she had massive family photos of children and a baby blown up on a screen behind her over the stage.  Mixed emotions: Adele admitted she was 'highly emotional' and 'incredibly nervous,' but also 'so excited,' adding 'At the same time I wish today was tomorrow!'; seen in July in London Bad timing: Adele's tearful cancellation video arrived just 24 hours before the shows were original set to begin in January.
