Rammstein have revealed the tracklist for their new album, ‘Zeit’ – check it out below.The band’s new album is set to land on April 29, and was previewed earlier this month with its title track. The new record follows 2019’s ‘Untitled’.‘Zeit’ is the eighth studio album from the Berlin band, which is made up of Till Lindemann (vocals), Paul Landers (guitar), Richard Z. Kruspe (guitar), Flake (keyboards), Oliver Riedel (bass) and Christoph Schneider (drums).The new album will be released on multiple formats on April 29, including a standard CD in a digipack with a 20-page booklet, a special edition CD in a six-panel digipack with a 56-page booklet including slipcase, and as a double 180g vinyl LP with a 20-page large-format booklet, as well as in the usual digital formats.A press release reveals that the band spent two years working on the 11 songs on the new album.

To that end, it interpolates elements of Queen’s 1977 hit ‘We Will Rock You’, with the lyric changed to “we will stop you”.The project was steered by COP International founder Christian Petke, alongside legendary producer John Fryer (Depeche Mode, Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails).

Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann has helped a Ukrainian refugee who was stranded after fleeing the ongoing war in her country.Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the country’s military to launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. At the time of writing, the UN reports that at least 816 civilians had died, with a further 1333 injured.The story of refugee Alisa Komm’s meeting with Lindemann was posted on Instagram by the rapper Potap, and has since been confirmed by Rammstein’s reps to Loudwire.Komm arrived at Berlin train station shortly after Russia declared war on Ukraine, but was unable to find an available hotel. Rammstein have spoken out in support of the Ukraine in light of the country’s ongoing conflict with Russia.It comes after Ukraine severed diplomatic ties with Russia and declared martial law after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an attack on the neighbouring nation last month (February 24).On Friday (March 4), the German band took to social media to post an image of Ukraine’s blue and yellow flag with the Rammstein logo in the middle, showing their support for those affected by the attacks.“The band Rammstein wishes to express its support for the nation of Ukraine as it resists the shocking attack perpetrated by the Russian government,” they wrote.

Rammstein have premiered a song from a forthcoming new album by sharing it with French astronaut Thomas Pesquet, who is currently onboard the International Space Station.The German industrial band’s drummer, Christoph Schneider, linked up with Pesquet directly from his home to share the track, which has not yet been released.“It felt like a child’s dream coming true for me – talking to a person living in the sky, sharing a glimpse of his view, realizing again how small we all are compared to the depth of the universe,” Schneider wrote on Instagram when sharing footage of the moment.“He was the first to listen to one of our new songs from the upcoming album.
