It takes a special kind of artist to draw humor out of the United States' mass shooting epidemic, but Paris Texas have managed to do it with the music video for their latest single "Bullet Man." The title (which may or may not be a reference to Shinya Tsukamoto 2009 cyberpunk film) takes on a very literal meaning in Aus Taylor's music video, written by the Los Angeles alt-rap duo themselves. The clip stars a young white kid who, after a sudden and unexpecting race swapping into a Black teen, finds himself stalked by the bullet of a gun fired by his own grandpappy.

Paris Texas, a duo spinning the last decade or so of underground rap into their own sound, are back with their first new song of the year. “PANIC!!!” follows their 2021 full-length Boy Anonymous and last year's one-off single "cyanide." The relatively quiet release schedule makes it all the more appropriate that Paris Texas would return with both barrels blazing.

Paris Texas (aka Louie Pastel and Felix) have shared a grungy new single titled ‘Girls Like Drugs’, coming hot on the heels of their debut EP from earlier in the year.Contrasting the vocalists’ sharp, swagger-inflected bars, the track rages on with barbed electric guitars and cymbal-heavy drums. In the track’s drowsy, effects-drenched pre-chorus, the pair sing: “Hoes like drugs / You know they’ll fuck your brain up / Baby please come over / Give me wings / Don’t keep all these n****s entertained / Break my heart baby / Girl show me pain.”The track arrives alongside a film clip directed by Zhamak Fullad and Raheem Hercule.
