JLS’ Aston Merrygold has gone viral after the singer failed to complete a backflip during one of their live shows.The moment happened on Saturday night (November 11) as the band played the final date of their 2023 reunion tour with a stop in Sheffield.At one point in the show, the singer went to perform a backflip off a ledge on the stage, as the other three members continued singing.

The heartbroken family of late JLS dancer Jack Pointer Mackenzie have shared their devastation after his sudden death. Jack's loved ones said the 35 year old had "everything to live for" when his body found at his flat in north London on 1 September, adding that his passing "doesn't make sense" as they wait to find out his cause of death. Speaking to MailOnline, Jack's devastated father Bren said there are "no suspicious cirumstances" and the family are currently waiting for a full report from the coroner.

Aston Merrygold has paid tribute to a dancer who performed with his former band JLS, Jack Pointer Mackenzie, who tragically died aged 35. Jack toured with JLS throughout their entire career from The X Factor in 2009, until their last tour in 2021. Boyband JLS have announced they're coming back to the stage as they prepare for a huge comeback tour.The band, consisting of Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Oritsé Williams, originally shot to fame when they finished second to Alexandra Burke on The X Factor in 2008.The band, whose hits include Beat Again, One Shot and Everybody In Love, later left their fans devastated when they announced they were going on a hiatus in 2013.They are now reuniting for a major arena tour which will see them perform some of their greatest hits but also a DJ battle between the band members. Sharing the news on Twitter, they wrote: “The suspense is over… We couldn’t be more excited to announce another UK and Ireland arena tour later this year.” The band continued: “[The] last time out was totally surreal and we’ve been eagerly awaiting the right time to do it all over again.
