Kim Kardashian's petition to be declared legally single amid her divorce proceedings with Kanye «Ye» West has been granted. The ruling also means Kim will be dropping West from her last name, but does not mean her divorce is final.This ruling simply means her martial status is single while she continues to work out a divorce settlement with Kanye. The judge made the ruling Wednesday morning in court, and the 41-year-old reality TV star also gave a short testimony via Zoom.The court's decision comes a day after ET learned that Kanye has changed divorce lawyers.

Wendy Williams' ex filed a lawsuit against Debmar-Mercury, the producer-distributor of , for unlawful termination.According to court docs obtained by ET, Hunter claims that Debmar-Mercury's decision to terminate him was on the basis of his marital status. ET has reached out to Hunter's lawyer and Debmar-Mercury for comment. Hunter and Williams tied the knot in 1997 and the TV personality filed for divorce in April 2019. Just days later, Hunter claims he received written notice from Debmar-Mercury that he was fired as the executive producer of and that he was no longer allowed on studio premises, according to the docs.Also in the docs, Hunter states that he and Debmar-Mercury were both involved in since its inception in 2008.

Jesse Williams and his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, have settled their child custody dispute.According to court documents obtained by ET, Williams and Drake-Lee will continue to share custody of their daughter Sadie, 8, and son Maceo, 6, but Williams will have «tie breaking authority» when it comes to issues like «COVID-19» protocols for their kids.Williams' request to modify his custodial schedule was granted by a Los Angeles Super Court judge, allowing the The  star to be able to spend time with his kids will working on the Broadway production of, later this spring.Per the judge's ruling, Williams will now have four consecutive days per month with his children in New York, with two of those days being weekends. This comes after Drake-Lee's initial request to reduce Williams' custodial time was denied.But the judge did approve her request to set a strict cancellation policy when it comes time to spending time with their kids.According to the docs, if Williams «cancels some parenting time, he cannot later 'uncancel'» unless there is a mutual agreement in writing.The two parents must also «meet and confer» in regard to planning extracurricular activities for their children, and if an agreement cannot be reached, that's when «tie breaking authority» will go to Drake-Lee to make the final decision.«Mother should appreciate that father cannot share with her certain schedules as far in advance as she would like, and that he may not always want his time with the children to be filled up with extracurriculars, and father should appreciate that mother is adapting her own schedule to meet his needs, and the children deserve to have extracurricular activities that they engage in on a regular basis, not just when mom is in charge,» the

Mr. Biden plans to announce Jackson, 51, as his pick on Friday, setting in motion a confirmation battle in the Senate that will play out amid Democrats' efforts to maintain their majorities in Congress in November's midterm elections.With Republicans and Democrats each controlling 50 seats in the Senate and Vice President Kamala Harris casting tie-breaking votes, Jackson will need support from all 50 Democrats — if GOP senators oppose her nomination — in order to be confirmed to the Supreme Court, which she is expected to receive. It's unclear when confirmation hearings in the Senate Judiciary Committee will begin, but Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and committee Chairman Dick Durbin have pledged to take up the nomination expeditiously.
