Suspected Audi thief spotted in Manchester city centre tries to escape from police by climbing up tree

Police first spotted the Audi S3 on Quay Street in Manchester city centre at around 2.20pm yesterday (Tuesday). The car was believed to be stolen and on false plates.

The driver failed to stop for police and a short pursuit took place. The Audi was then abandoned on Butterwick Close in Levenshulme.
