Susanna Reid, the familiar face from Good Morning Britain, took to social media after her festive break to reveal a striking transformation.
The broadcaster has not posted in nearly two weeks but chose to share her new look inspired by an interview with pop icon Cher last year.
During their on-screen chat, Cher, known for her age-defying appearance, shared her top tip to counteract ageing - maintaining long hair.
Captivated by the concept, Susanna took the plunge, announcing her bold change with an excited post: "NEW YEAR NEW HAIR!". She detailed her decision further: "After hearing THE CHOP is cool, pop idol Cher told me women should keep their long hair and so I am turning back time and going LONG for 2025 with extensions put in by @christinabhair." Cher, at 77, appeared on GMB flaunting her own lustrous, waist-length black hair and discussed why embracing youthful features such as jeans and long hair could be a rebellion against time's steady march, reports the Express.
