Susanna Reid thanks Ben Shephard for '10 fantastic years' ahead of This Morning debut
ok.co.ukBen Shephard is leaving his long-time colleague Susanna Reid as he prepares to become the new host of This Morning with Cat Deeley.The presenter fronted his last show on Friday, 23 February, where it was announced that his first day in his new gig will be Monday, 11 March.
While it was an emotion-filled last day in the Good Morning Britain studio, Susanna, 53, has since taken to her social media to say an emotional goodbye to her friend and colleague, saying she's "going to miss".
Posting a smiling selfie of her with Ben, along with a snap of Ben and fellow presenter Kate Garraway, she paid tribute to the 49-year-old telly favourite. "BEN!
Going to miss you @gmb but I know you’ll bring your best Benergy to @thismorning.Thanks for 10 fantastic years from launch to send-off @benshephardofficial" Ben's last show was an emotional one, with all of the presenters admitting they were struggling to keep their feelings in check.
