Suella Braverman has resigned as Home Secretary after 'making a mistake', she has said. In a letter to embattled Prime Minister Liz Truss, Ms Braverman said she chose to resign after a security mistake concening a confidential email.
She wrote: "Earlier today, I sent an official document from my personal email to a trusted parliamentary colleague as part of policy engagement and with the aim of garnering support for government policy on migration.
