Cornish beauty spot.Louise Coe, from Truro, says she was walking the coast path at Bedruthan Steps, near Padstow and Newquay, with her husband on Sunday, April 10 when they noticed the unusual sight.The couple used to walk the route regularly but hadn’t been back for a year, due in part to recent landslides.
Bedruthan Steps itself had been shut multiple times as a result. But this weekend Louise was stopped mid-walk by her husband.
On the cliff, gazing towards the sea, was what appeared to be a huge human face.Set into the rocks, as if someone had carved it by hand, the face which looks startlingly real.
Louise told Cornwall Live she thinks it was created by one of the landslides in an incredible natural occurrence.She said: “We’ve gone there so many times before but never noticed.
