And ever since their first appearance on the hit BBC One show, the pair have been plagued by rumours claiming they're looking to be more than just friends.
But for Maisie it's no surprise, as she suspected the public would love the pair to end up together. “He’s amazing,” she told the The Daily Star.
Maisie rolled her eyes, adding: "I knew this would happen.” Despite suspecting she'd be hit with romance rumours, Maisie has refused to rule out the possibility of something in the future.
