Strictly's Katya Jones reveals lack of media training amid scandal - 'I didn't know what I was getting into'

Amidst the swirling controversies surrounding the beloved show, the 35 year old pro dancer emphasised that "it's not about me" and made it clear that she "absolutely cannot talk on others behalf".
She reflected on her journey through the rehearsal rooms, having partnered with eight celebrity contestants over the years.The Russian-born dancer, who became part of the Strictly family in 2016 alongside her then-husband Neil Jones, confessed to not fully understanding what she was diving into, admitting: "I didn't know what I was getting into".
Her candid remarks follow the claims made by former Strictly star Amanda Abbington, who recently disclosed to Channel 4 News her complaints to the BBC about "aggressive behaviour" during last year's rehearsals, describing professional partner Giovanni Pernice as as "inappropriate, mean, nasty bullying" within a "toxic environment".
