BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach says 'little did I know' as she marks big milestone
manchestereveningnews.co.ukEllie Leach has marked a big milestone after an 'incredible year'. The actress seemingly couldn't believe it had been a whole year since her inclusion in Strictly Come Dancing 2023 was announced.
Ellie, 23, and professional dance partner Vito Coppola, 31, lifted the coveted glitterball trophy back in December as they were crowned champions of the BBC One dance contest's 2023 series following a close finale with Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.
Ellie's Strictly journey did continue into 2024 as earlier this year, the former Coronation Street star was reunited with Vito and the pair joined a number of their co-stars from the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2024 tour which visited arenas up and down the country. On Friday (August 9), as the names for Strictly 2024 continue to be announced, Ellie marked a whole 12 months since she was announced as joining the show in her first big move since leaving Corrie where she played Faye Windass for 13 years.
