Katya Jones has shared the one 'sad' thing about her Strictly Come Dancing journey as fans are also left emotional ahead of the new series.

It was confirmed back in June that the dancer would be returning to the dance show in the pro line-up. And it's now been a few weeks since the BBC dance contest's professional dancers began work on the upcoming series.

Last month, they joined creative director Jason Gilkinson in rehearsals as they worked on the string of pro numbers that will feature throughout the series and set to be pre-recorded later this month.

Joining Katya in this year's professional line-up are: Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nikita Kuzmin, Jowita Przystał, Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, Gorka Márquez, Johannes Radebe, Nanxy Xu, Nikita Kuzmin, Lauren Oakley, Carlos Gu, Karen Hauer, Luba Mushtuk, Neil Jones, Michelle Tsiakkas, Nadiya Bychkova and Vito Coppola.
