Ex-footballer Paul Merson gracefully exited Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night, and it was on a high note. After being voted off, the 56 year old football pundit remained positive, stating he feels like a 'winner' for gaining new dance skills.
During the nail-biting dance-off, Paul and his pro partner Karen Hauer put their best foot forward, against pop star JB Gill and his partner Amy Dowden.
Despite earning 30 points for their energetic jive to Outkast's Hey Ya, JB and Amy faced the threat of elimination due to the audience's vote.
On Saturday's leaderboard, Paul and Karen were at the bottom with only 19 points for their samba to Rose Royce's Car Wash. They were just ahead of TV doc Punam Krishan with 21 points, reality star Pete Wicks with 22, and Olympian Sam Quek who scored 26.
