Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left saying it 'had to happen' as Vito Coppola addressed his and Sarah Hadland's latest announcement.

It was confirmed over the weekend that the pair had made it through to week eight of the BBC One dance contest after impressing both the judges and viewers watching at home with their latest performance during the first-ever 'Icons Week'.

Actress Sarah and Italian dancer Vito were seen dancing a Cha Cha Cha to Madonna's 1989 track,Like a Prayer, with Sarah channelling the 'Queen of Pop' in a short blonde wig and her famous cone bra. And it's now been revealed that Sarah and Vito will be performing an American Smooth to Proud by Heather Small, which fans of Miranda star Sarah will know is synonymous with her sitcom character, created by her friend and co-star Miranda Hart.
