Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans 'set to leave' after results backlash

Wynne Evans has been hit with a major setback on Strictly Come Dancing, as his joy at reaching Blackpool week could soon turn into disappointment.

He's now the favourite to be booted off this week. Despite causing a stir earlier in the series with his pro partner Katya Jones, the duo were expected to at least land in the dance-off, with bookies predicting a swift change in public opinion against them.

However, they continued to defy their critics until this weekend, when they found themselves in the bottom two for the first time after finishing in joint last place at the bottom of the leaderboard.

They faced off against Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu, who are no strangers to the dance-off, having been there twice before. After both couples performed their dances from Saturday night's live show again, the result was a nail-biter.
