The professional dancer and her celebrity dance partner Wynne Evans were the eighth couple to be eliminated from the BBC One dance contest during the Blackpool special results show on November 17, after the programme was broadcast live from the world-famous Tower Ballroom.
At the time, the pair had to bounce back having found themselves saved from elimination the previous weekend after landing in the bottom two alongside Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu. Anton Du Beke praised Wynne's dance to Georges Bizet’s Carmen Suite No 1: 5. Les Toreadors for his enthusiasm and commitment but told him he looked "exhausted towards the end of the dance".
