BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans fume for Dianne Buswell as 'rude' mistake made live on show

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left fuming on behalf of Dianne Buswell after a mistake was seemingly made during the latest live show.

The professional dancer was back in the ballroom on Saturday night (December 7) alongside her celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland.

The pair were seen giving it their all as they made the semi-final of the BBC One dance contest with two dances to perform. They started their quest to make it through to Strictly's final next weekend by performing a Charleston to When You’re Smiling by The Blue Vipers Of Brooklyn which was awarded 33 points by the judges. Dianne's emotional appearance continued as she shared why she thought Chris should make it through to the upcoming final of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series, saying: "I have taught Chris this whole time without a single visual cue. "He's never been able to watch a dance back to see if he's done a great job or to look at anything and go, 'Maybe I can improve on that!' He's never been able to see any of his competitors, see what the competition is like, he's had none of that yet he's seen this competition so well because he's captured the spirit of this show." Her comments left her fellow pro dancers as well as viewers in tears but Strictly fans admitted to earlier being outraged following Chris and Dianne's first performance of the night as Shirley Ballas made a mistake when addressing Dianne directly. @scddevereaux said: "'Chris let me be your eyes for a moment'
