Dianne Buswell has been declared love by her Strictly Come Dancing co-star as she issued a promise to fans after it was confirmed she and celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland have made it through to the show's final.

The finalists for the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series were confirmed on Sunday night (December 8) during the last results show of the series.

It came following a spectacular semi-final on Saturday night (December 7) which saw each of the five remaining couples perform twice.

After landing in the dreaded dance-off for the first time, Pete Wicks and his dance partner Jowita Przystal became the eleventh - and last - couple to leave the competition, leaving just four couples remaining for next Saturday night's (December 14) grand finale.
