mirror.co.ukShirley Ballas was rushed to hospital today after she broke her ankle. The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 59, ended up with a boot on and is now walking on crutches after being treated in A&E.
Taking to Instagram to share a video of herself walking with her new injury, Shirley reassured her followers that she would be fine in time to return to the judging panel this autumn.
Her partner Daniel Taylor, 47, also posted pictures of the two of them in the hospital, calling Shirley a "brave soldier". In her clip Shirley showed how she was learning to use the crutches, chanting "crutches, right foot, close" to herself.
