mirror.co.ukShirley Ballas finally put her feet up tonight after spending the day in hospital with a broken ankle. The head Strictly Come Dancing judge, 59, had kept followers of her Instagram account updated throughout Sunday after she was rushed to A&E.
After she got an X-ray it was confirmed that she had suffered a clean break to her ankle, and she was given a medical boot and crutches to help her move around on.
Taking to her Instagram stories in the evening, Shirley shared a picture of her ankle under a bag of ice as she relaxed in bed in her pyjamas. "Broken ankle," she captioned the post alongside a sad face emoji.
Shirley also shared a video of herself walking with her new injury after her partner Daniel Taylor escorted her to the hospital.
