Football pundit Mark Lawrenson is in talks to sign up for Strictly. Bosses on the smash BBC show have made him their top target for the next series.
An insider said: “The team who book celebs for Strictly are really keen to get Mark on board. “He’s a great character and they know viewers would love to see him on the show this autumn. “Strictly is a big commitment.
But it’s looking promising.” Producers plan to offer Lawrenson, 62, a big-money deal to get him on board. He has told pals he is likely to sign on the dotted line.
A source close to the former Liverpool player said: “There is definitely a good chance of him signing up. He has certainly shown interest. “He loves the show and knows it would be a lot of fun to be a contestant.” Lawre
